It will be a home based business where my primary goal is to sell crocheted, hand-crafted items that I make myself.  Some will be from preprinted patterns, and others will be of my own patterns. 

Through this same business, I will also offer administrative support for programs in Microsoft Office Suites and possibly training under through MS eventually.

Selling items will be done through the internet, attendance at various festivals and art shows, and by exposure through other means (a friend of a friend, etc.).  I plan to provide administrative support from my home and will also offer to go to companies to offer training sessions.

Also, note that forming an llc or incorporating eliminates the requirement of getting a dba. It is a good idea to form an llc to avoid personal liability from business transactions. Since you are dealing in taxable items, you will need 4. A seller's permit.
